GTA 6 releases November 19, 2026 on consoles only: PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X|S. That’s confirmed by Rockstar. As of June 25, 2026:

Why Rockstar is skipping PC at first

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick publicly owned a “console-first” strategy: console players are the core audience. He also denied any PlayStation exclusivity deal.

Above all it’s consistent with Rockstar’s habits: the publisher has never released a mainline GTA on PC the same day as consoles. So it’s not a bad sign — just the usual method.

When will the PC version release? (estimates)

• GTA V: consoles in 2013, PC in 2015 (~18 months later).
• Red Dead Redemption 2: consoles in 2018, PC in 2019 (~12 months later).
