It’s official: Grand Theft Auto VI releases November 19, 2026. Here’s everything that’s confirmed — date, platforms, PC version, and where pre-orders stand.
Release date
GTA 6 releases November 19, 2026. That’s the official date from Rockstar Games, confirmed when pre-orders opened.
Platforms
At launch, GTA 6 will be available on:
- PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro
- Xbox Series X | S
What about a PC version?
No PC version at launch. Rockstar has announced nothing for PC. Based on history (GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 came to PC well after consoles), a PC version is likely — but later, with no date yet.
Pre-orders are open
Since June 25, 2026, you can pre-order GTA 6 on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Rockstar Games Store and at retailers. Two editions: Standard $79.99 and Ultimate $99.99. Every pre-order unlocks the Vintage Vice City Pack. → Details: where to pre-order GTA 6 · editions comparison.
What we know about the game
- Setting: a return to Vice City and the (fictional) state of Leonida, inspired by Florida.
- Characters: you play as Jason and Lucia, a duo at the heart of the story.
- Vibe: neon, beaches, crime — the GTA DNA, modernized.
